Corrections and reply

A clear path to fix the record.

SilentCritique verdicts are meant to inform users, not punish subjects. Corrections and replies are part of the product because trust requires a visible way to challenge errors and add context.

Factual correction

If a verdict contains a wrong date, broken source, misidentified feature, outdated status, or other factual error, we review the evidence and correct the page when appropriate.

Right of reply

A subject may submit a concise reply. If published, the reply appears with the verdict so readers can see the subject position alongside the original evaluation.

Retest request

A subject may request a retest after meaningful product changes. Retesting can change a future score, but it does not rewrite the historical observation date.

What to include

  • The verdict URL and the exact sentence, score input, source, or status you believe is wrong.
  • Evidence that supports the correction, such as public documentation, changelog entries, screenshots, logs, or reproducible steps.
  • Whether you are requesting a factual correction, a published reply, a retest, or all three.
  • Any material relationship we should disclose, including whether the evaluation was requested, paid, sponsored, or unsolicited.
